Executive Director

Graham is a co-founder of SBD Guinea. Graham has been involved in the African drilling industry since 2001, when he was responsible for the SBD Group mobilising their first rig to the Simandou Project in Guinea.

Graham is also a former corporate finance partner of Ernst & Young. During his period with Ernst & Young, Graham was the project leader of a wide variety of corporate advisory assignments, in all industries, for small to large public and private companies. He has experience as Executive Director and subsequently Managing Director of a publicly listed company, as non-executive Chairman of a publicly listed company, and as the executive officer of two large private companies. He formed Norvest Corporate Pty Ltd, a specialist corporate advisory firm, in April 2000 and is the Managing Director of that company.

Graham is currently Non-Executive Chairman of Australian Stock Exchange Listed companies Advanced Engine Components Ltd and Global Wine Ventures Ltd.



Operations Manager

Shaun commenced work in the drilling industry in 2001 working with Resource Drilling, and later with North West Drilling in Western Australia.

In 2006 Shaun ventured out of Australia to take up a supervisory role with Capital Drilling in Zambia, which led him to join SBD Guinea in 2007.

In 2010 Shaun was promoted to the Site Manager role at SBDG’s operations in Senegal.

During his time with SBDG Shaun has successfully managed RC exploration, diamond exploration, grade control and hydrogeological drilling programmes. He also has extensive mechanical knowledge in relation to all SBDG’s RC rigs and auxiliary equipment.

He understands the importance of promoting a safe working environment, and has vast experience in training local staff as well as accommodating different cultures.

Shaun is currently based in Conakry where he is responsible for Cote D’Ivoire, Guinean, Senegalese and Mauritanian operations.



Finance and Administration Manager

Robyn provides and controls a full range of administration, treasury, financing and accounting services to the company.

Robyn has been with SBD Guinea since it was founded in 2006 and has controlled its branch registrations including all accounting and taxation requirements in a number of West African countries.

Robyn has experience as the Chief Financial Officer of a public company. She has also been personal and administrative assistant to a number of Managing Directors and Chairmen in a range of ASX listed companies. Robyn is fully proficient in MYOB and other accounting and compliance packages.
